Good board after improvements

Good board after some tweaking. First of all, the board is delivered assembled upon receipt. However, the deck itself is covered in plastic on which carts are mounted. It's a little disappointing when you rip off all the plastic for cleanliness. When I opened it, I noticed that the wheels were screwed on too tightly. For those who don't know, if the nut holding the wheel to the truck axle is too tight, the wheel won't turn well. Because of this, you may have seen reviews where people say the wheel doesn't spin at all. I loosened the nut on each wheel and it turns much better. But even after losing the wheels I don't think it spins fast enough for a cruising board. I highly recommend getting some "Bones Red" bearings with this board. After replacing the stock ones with these and leaving the wheels bare as mentioned, the ride is much better. The plastic of the circuit board is flexible. Also, the top of the board has no tape. It's just plastic, but I didn't realize I slipped. Carts (some call them pegs) are made of metal. They do their job and I'm happy with them. I find that more expensive penny style skateboards have rails that allow for better carving. They're still good, and you can easily maneuver around people while driving. Although the board is small, it feels a bit heavy. Overall I'm very happy with this board after some modifications. I use it almost every day to get around my uni. It offers speed and smoothness. I wish the wheels were a little softer because I've had moments where I felt like I had to go through big cracks in the pavement, but I can't. Still a solid buy for the price.
