Suitable for smoking at temperatures but not for high heat
The product description for this item is inaccurate. I tried it on my grill/smoker. It has a high straight side like a traditional grill and a low temperature indirect smoking side. This product worked great on the low temp side but like the others it didn't work for me on the high temp side. The manufacturer should revise the product list. If you use this on a real smoker and run it at 225 degrees you should be fine. If you heat it to 500 degrees or more, this isn't what you need.
