Review on Enhanced Boss PH2.1500 Phantom 3000W Mosfet Amplifier - 2-Channel Bridgeable with Remote Control by Rusty Calcara

This amp drives my 1200 watt dual 12" MTX Terminator subwoofers and the amp definitely makes these subs boom pretty hard even when the amp isn't cranked all the way up. I've heard other reviews incorrectly advertise the amp as 1200 watts, but as this is my first time buying and installing a car amp and subwoofer sound system, all I know is that I'm using a Legacy LAMP 1600 watt quad amp got fitment kit measuring and hooking everything up in about three or four hours in the cold with limited tools. I was happy because I was able to connect it through my rear speakers using the high level input converter that came with the cable set. I have a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P and chose to keep the factory (OEM) head unit so the amp's remote control is very helpful. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it could cause my car to break into immobilization mode because i connected my remote control wire to my fuse box and connected it to the fuel pump fuse. This is mainly due to the fact that the factory head unit survived, so it's not really the amp's fault, but the 4 stars, and also rumors of incorrectly advertised performance. You can also use simpler controls to adjust the amplifier. Those minor annoyances aside, I'm overall very happy with the product and love blasting the streets and doing my bass-filled dubstep and rap/hip-hop. I would and have recommended this amp to anyone looking for a decent first amp for two 1200 watt subwoofers.
