I wanted a coffee grinder to replace the blade grinder I was using. The price was attractive and although many reviews were negative I decided to take a chance and buy it. I immediately noticed that the degree of grinding was very uneven. You will get powder and large flakes. After just a month, the number of cycles you had to go through to grind enough beans for four cups increased. This machine heats up. You must wait between cycles for the grinder to cool. Towards the end the porridge smoked. It's also very noisy. Maximum. Eventually the coffee got bitter. The machine has become unusable for its intended purpose. I ended up buying a Baratza Encore grinder. It's more expensive, but that's all this coffee grinder doesn't have.
