A few hundred pecans and it lasts. The trick to cracking pecans seems to be adjusting the set screw so the hole is slightly larger than the one you're cracking. Take your time and it will crack the pecan into usable halves. Each nut is different in size/quality so not 100% but a high success rate. 5 stars for my use and ease of setup. According to negative feedback: For nuts that are harder than pecans, the metal/tolerances will likely soften over time. . but it was said that it was for soft shell nuts. So people using it for hard shells are at or above the rated power. You can change the RPM of your car, but expect a reduction in engine life. 👌
