I have a 7 gallon glass cube tank with no rim. I had a Finnex, but pressing it against the jar means the jar lid isn't sitting evenly. In addition, algae grows on the propeller and is difficult to clean. So I got this light. You insert the legs into the holes on the lantern itself. However, there's no way to keep those legs from falling to the ground if you tilt them slightly. This is an inconvenience every time you want to feed the fish and do a partial water change. Not impressed with the range of light on this one. For the price, I expected better build quality and ease of use. I will probably return to my Finnex.[LCVR]
