No canopy mount

The light is amazing. I installed mine in a wood shed for my 55 gallon aquarium. It does not come with mounting hardware, just attachable feet to support it. Tank so I had to use a construction stapler to attach it to the shed. very easy job. gives excellent light with the ability to dim the white light or convert it to green or blue light. Also, there is a setting for simulating light where it's very cool. worth your money

absolute rubbish, best in Fish & Aquatic Animals category

We bought this lamp for our aquarium and the first lamp that was sent to us broke so the company sent us a replacement. 4 months later this thing just shuts down completely so we contact the company again and they send us a new power supply; When it didn't work and we contacted them, they apologized that they would not replace the faulty product as they had already replaced it when the first faulty unit arrived. I assume their failure to get the aquarium product to work is actually my fault…

Unreliable - impossible to keep your feet from slipping

I have a 7 gallon glass cube tank with no rim. I had a Finnex, but pressing it against the jar means the jar lid isn't sitting evenly. In addition, algae grows on the propeller and is difficult to clean. So I got this light. You insert the legs into the holes on the lantern itself. However, there's no way to keep those legs from falling to the ground if you tilt them slightly. This is an inconvenience every time you want to feed the fish and do a partial water change. Not impressed with the…

Must-have for your aquarium!

So far I like this light! I have bought from this brand before and the brightness does not disappoint. Make sure to turn on the light in time before using the remote control, otherwise all settings will not work. My only complaint is that my other Nicrew flashlight has sturdy plastic legs with a grommet to hold the flashlight more securely to the tank. Whatever it is, it stays on if you don't move it that easily, but I'd happily pay another $5 for the upgraded legs. The auto light cycle is a…

You get what you pay for

I am buying two of these lights. 48-60 and 30-36. I was attracted by the price as they sold/sold much cheaper than other competitors. During the first 30 days, the larger one started to fail, flashing on and off every second. I've tried turning it off and on again, unplugging and plugging it back in to no avail. Since the return period has not yet expired, I was able to do this and get my money back. The smaller one had to be sent back as it now also has a buggy. I replaced the larger one with…

Flickers all day

I liked the idea of a 24 hour automatic light scheme and it was the right size for my tank. Sent back the first one as it was clearly a return and hadn't been repackaged properly: the wires were barely tied together and it was just thrown back in the box. Sent it back for another one as if I were buying from a store this would not be what I would take home. The second arrived and if it was a return, at least it was well packaged. Easy setup and I activated the 24 hour timer setting by selecting

can't adjust the brightness 24/7

For a small aquarium with low to medium white light needs, seems to work well. My aquarium has been running for about 3 weeks now and the plants are fine. The remote control is powered by a wired sensor that you place so that the instrument can detect the remote control. There is a 24/7 mode, but from 21:00 to 12:00 it is too bright; should be off by 3pm or very dark I think. There's no indication of what mode it's in, so using the remote can be confusing. In 24/7 mode, other buttons do not…

Edit: Died after six weeks! Bad support. Wouldn't recommend it.

Edit: Light stopped working after 6 weeks. I contacted support and they asked me to send a video of the light not working. Condensation was forming inside the light and since there was "water” inside the light they said the warranty had expired so they would not replace it. So my first was DOA, the second died at 6 weeks and is out of warranty due to condensation. This is an aquarium lamp. So 1 star for bad product design, bad quality and bad customer service. The first one I ordered was dead…

It's decent but has some flaws

I've had it a little over a week so far. I like to walk in and out of a room and leave the house without having to worry about turning off the lights. I like to use the 24/7 mode. It automatically changes the brightness and turns the light off/on without you having to do anything. I also notice that in night mode my fish seem calm and searching. It says it's not waterproof, but I haven't had any issues. I had to adapt it to my 36 and 10 gallon tanks. The little one wasn't big enough and the big
