I am using this new lens on a Nikon D5300 with the latest firmware update and everything works fine. When connected to a D5300 camera, a new menu appears that controls VR from the camera as there are no physical switches on the lens itself. I like it because it has Vibration Reduction (VR) so photos appear crisp when held in hand. It's also lightweight, quiet, and has fast focusing. Photos look good. It's a useful lens indoors for capturing everything in the room, and outdoors for deep and wide panoramic shots. One of the best things about this lens is that it allows me to have a high quality wide angle lens at an affordable price. It comes with a US warranty, front and rear lens caps, a front lens hood, and a padded carrying case. Kudos to Revain for delivering this lens just 20 hours after purchase.
