OK I have to admit I was skeptical after reading 12 hours on a single charge. So out of the box it was fully charged according to the tiny manual so I started it up at 8:30 today by playing local radio station *L*O*U*D* and then went out. I get home at 10:30pm and she's still playing music! It's 14 hours and still valid! And it's *L*O*U*D*. It includes an overhead microphone with a windscreen, a 3.5mm stereo jack and a 3.5mm stereo cable that can be used as an antenna or to connect an iPod. It's pretty short and not gold plated so I'm planning on replacing it but it's functional. I absolutely love it - it even comes with a storage pouch and adjustable shoulder strap. It's about the size of a can of Nana Brown beans, but not as heavy. Two things I find odd is that they say to automatically scan FM radio stations, but after that I can't seem to change the frequency other than the channels it found while scanning. I would have preferred to be able to tune into some of the weaker stations that weren't programmed into the scan. Another thing I was surprised to read is that they recommend draining the battery completely before charging. I wonder what kind of chemistry it will be?
