They are pretty good. The only drawback: the handles could be a bit wider. I have another spatula that I really like that has the same handle sizes so it doesn't matter but I find that the handles are a bit wider and not as square and feel better in the hand. However, this spatula works like a charm. It's for fish, but it actually works for a lot of things. A biscuit glides over it more smoothly than a hard spatula, and turning something over is a little easier since things don't stick to the blade as much. Small parts aren't as good as they get stuck in the grooves, but that's to be expected. The corners also match the sides of my pans better than the square blades with sharp corners. - Update __ now, after about a year I can say they still work great. By the way, why 4 stars? Well the finish line when they arrived could have been better. They are of course stamped and could use a little more deburring than before. I found the edges to be quite sharp, so I spent some time using sandpaper to round them off and smooth the wood out a bit. I also oiled the wood which was quite unfinished when it arrived. These are not big deals and for the price they are on a very good level. Also the design could support the blade better. If the wood extended a little beyond where the blade cuts to the width of the handle, it would add strength to the blade at that point. The fact is that with strong pressure, the blade can bend where it meets the handle. Again, it's not a big deal as it's supposed to be wrong, but a little change would help a lot. All the little things made it a 4 star product but I would give it 5 stars if that makes sense.
