Professional cooking quality

At the restaurants I've worked at, I've outfitted my line with these fish spatulas. While working there they have stood the test of time and outlived some of the chefs working there. Unfortunately, they often got lost because chefs packed them in their knife sets. I have one for myself and it is the same as I remembered it!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great spatula at a great price

Works great if you are looking for a fish spatula or a better spatula, overall good value for money. It will last if you keep the pen lubricated. It's easy to get under the food. I didn't buy an expensive fish spatula because this one did its job perfectly. I've noticed that the more expensive ones are thicker, but didn't see a need.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

One of my favorite kitchen tools

This spatula is so thin and angled that it's perfect for getting under and pulling out whatever food is being cooked in the pan. For fish: I can cook a piece of salmon with skin in the oven and once cooked, just slide a spatula between the meat and the skin to completely remove the skin (without pulling out half the meat). I love this kitchen tool!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Weak set

Good, but there are better ones for about the same price.

I bought this and New Star Foodservice 43068 Wooden Handle Fish Spatula, Spatula with 6.5" Blade at the same time. The two blades are exactly the same. The difference is that this Winco blade only fits halfway into the wooden handle, while the New Star spatula has a metal handle that extends to the end of the wooden handle. 3 rivets versus 2 on the Winco.

  • Special offer
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very good BUT not good for lifting a 20lb roast :)

I saw a video review of this product or a similar one and they did their best to bend and distort it when it would be too weak to do anything. Very misleading video as they are designed to lift/turn fish fillets, NOT 10lb salmon! I gave it 3 stars for durability as it's not the meaty hamburger flipper you want next to the grill. It is very light and works as it is designed for light delicate items such as flipping fish fillets, crab cakes, biscuits, potato slices, potato tortillas, etc. My…

Great kitchen tool to match kitchen utensils

Sometimes you need a specific kitchen tool that will help you cook more efficiently and spend your time eating. This little fin (as I call it) is awesome. Sometimes it takes a medium sized tool to work wonders and this one ticks the box for me. The wooden handle fits my hand perfectly and is smooth. The steel part of it is well anchored in the wood. You can use it for any type of cooking, it's very versatile and the price is great. I do reviews for Revain and I firmly believe that if I leave a…

Impressive fit and finish

After reading enough negative reviews I was willing to put some effort into this spatula upon receipt - raw handle and rough metal edges. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived with the handle completely finished and the edges of the spatula punched clean. It took me a few minutes to go over the sandpaper between the slots of the trowel, but even that wasn't really necessary. Not to say it's perfect, but I wasn't expecting it at this price point. But it's better than I hoped. The handle is…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No instructions

Just ordered and received two of these. Used immediately for omelettes and DH was very happy with the ease of use. Slipping the rounded end under the product first gives you a long diagonal space to grab the soft product, making it easier to flip without damaging it. or a thick spatula. It looked a little "wiry" and I thought it was flimsy, but it doesn't seem flexible or "weak" for weights up to the weight of a three-egg omelet or an 8-inch pancake. The metal part is deeper at the bottom than…

Great price for a very good lathe

They are pretty good. The only drawback: the handles could be a bit wider. I have another spatula that I really like that has the same handle sizes so it doesn't matter but I find that the handles are a bit wider and not as square and feel better in the hand. However, this spatula works like a charm. It's for fish, but it actually works for a lot of things. A biscuit glides over it more smoothly than a hard spatula, and turning something over is a little easier since things don't stick to the…
