They have a very authentic pine scent that I love. It took a few tries to learn how to light them, but it's not very difficult. Hold the flame on it until it glows like a cigarette (this will take a few seconds). Then blow out the flame. Lighting them up after they've gone out can be tricky, but many of them come boxed. I just buy a new one, on rare occasions I have to delete it. They work very well because a lot of smell comes out of one piece. For my taste, the smell can accumulate quickly in a small apartment. I usually put them in another room. You get great value for money. If you're looking for something light and sophisticated, this might not be the best choice. This is a staple at my house for the holidays. I really like her.
