I like the design. However, if you fill it above the bottom line of the spout, it will boil away. Until this week I tolerated it. This week the water will EXPLODE from the sink when properly filled. My husband said you pour too much water, you know that's not right. Well after 3 consecutive days of using it 100 times at least once a day since purchase I said NO something is wrong. Then I looked on the internet. Obviously the lower layers pull apart with use causing a dangerous explosion of HOT water 4ft into the kitchen. It was an expensive T-Pot to only get it for 2.5 years. I do NOT recommend you to buy this Alessi pot!
