I hate to write a negative review but in this case I had to. This is the most ridiculous dehydrator on the planet. You cannot select temporary settings. There are 8 preset temperature settings to choose from and if you bought the dehydrator because you eat raw (less than 118 degrees) there are only 3 to choose from (none of which are ideal temperatures for dehydrating raw foods). Also, the timer only works in 30-minute increments, and to make it even less useful, it can only run for 20 hours at a time (instructions state that the machine must be unplugged and allowed to cool within 2 hours of operation). 20 hours). That's great if you're into bacteria and food poisoning, but personally I try to avoid things that could potentially get me hospitalized. I would like to give zero stars for that.
