Review on πŸ“š Rustic Brown 4-Tier Wood-Look Industrial Ladder Shelf - AZL1 Life Concept Bookshelf for Bathroom and Living Room with Metal Frame by Lauren Allen

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Put this subpar quality bookshelf on the shelf.

It can be said that this bookcase was launched in a hurry. Several packages were open from the packaging, the tools were open which meant there were loose screws and parts. That was the first sign that quality was being forgotten here. Next, the metal towers were uneven and actually misaligned by half an inch. Some parts were unmarked. After a few hours of frustration with poor instructions and uneven metal, I had to move the shelves, two of which are actually hanging over a ledge where all the shelves are supposed to look level. The substrate went across the middle, and the instructions placed it at the bottom. I've built quite a few bookshelves in my time, and while this build wasn't the worst, it certainly sits at the bottom. Directions are all pictures which are quite vague. You get your standard hex wrenches that everyone loves. The paint on metal is very thin and if you scratch it with more than your fingernail it will start to peel off. "Wood", also called chipboard, thin and rather cheap and flimsy. Be careful when screwing in as you can almost hear and feel the chipboard starting to crack. I took a picture of mine, it looks decent but lacks quality. This market is pretty saturated and I think you can find better options that don't make you tear your hair out with poor quality materials and instructions.
