Review on 🔊 Tweeter Speaker Adapters - Compatible with Lexus and Subaru - 1.25" Cutout - SAK009_125-1 Pair by Ben Duncan

I have bought these twice now, first to upgrade my truck stereo and then for my dad's truck. In both cases I needed them to create a speaker mount to replace the tweeters for the speaker component kits at the front of the cab. The good news is that the screw holes in the bracket line up exactly with the screw holes in the Toyota. Tacoma for Small Front Door/Dash Tweeter/Midrange (location depends on if you have a 3rd or 2nd generation Toyota Tacoma). The bad news (if you can call it that) is that the notch will need to be modified to match your particular tweeter. In my case I used a 1.75 inch circular saw to enlarge the hole to the right size for my use. That being said, I really don't see a practical way without many variations on these mounts. so i really can't complain for the manufacturer and for the price, it's a do it yourself project anyway so i expect some effort, after i cut the hole to the right size i used it a durable silicone grommet to ensure the tweeter does not detach from the mount due to vibration. As a result the stereos sounded great and if I need to do another similar project I will not hesitate to purchase this product. again.
