I forgot how many new felt books have come out in the last year but this one really stands out. The first thing that told me there was something new and interesting about the pages was the cover. Gorgeous combination of texture and color and I haven't even opened the book yet! Margot does a good job of introducing the beginner Fuller to the basics, but even a seasoned Fuller will find plenty of inspiration in these pages. The book begins with an overview of materials and includes a comparison chart of needle felting machines. There are five projects to get you started, from a bag, magazine cover and scarf to a whole new and unique way to display your photos. My personal favorite is the fluff and the fancy pin. I can see how many of these can be made to decorate everything from bags and hats to scarves and sweaters. All projects are easy to understand with clearly written instructions and diagrams. Although this book is only 32 pages long, there is much to inspire.
