Review on Sewing machine Brother INNOV-"IS 10 by Bogusia Makowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

When choosing a machine, I relied mainly on reviews on the market and was not mistaken. The machine met all expectations and even more. When choosing, I proceeded from the principle that the simpler the more reliable. I hesitated between the 10th and 20th model, like 40 lines are better than 16, but sewing realized that even out of 16 lines I use a maximum of 10, so why overpay for unnecessary options. Honestly, I had to get used to the paws, they are wider than ours, and when sewing, I orient the fabric along the edge of the paw, at first it was inconvenient, but then I got used to it. ) the quality of the lines is generally a sight to behold. In all other respects, the machine shines!

Pros
  • Very simple and easy to use. I mastered it in 15 minutes without even reading the instructions, and for 14 minutes out of 15 I mastered the needle threader - I couldn’t figure out how to start the thread on the hook, it turned out I had to start the thread as if from below, I did it and everything went like clockwork. Amazingly beats loops directly champion in this form. It is very convenient to insert the spool. Automatic fastening at the beginning of the line and manual from the button at the end. turning off the fabric feed mechanism, it is very convenient to sew on patches, and with some dexterity, even embroider.
Cons
  • The needles are blunt like felt boots. I immediately threw them away and bought normal German ones and started sewing jeans in eight layers. With the old ones, I didn’t even pierce four layers of calico.
