Review on General Tools 1201ME Precision Stainless by Michael Skerving

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite ruler: Linear measurement

I've had a couple of rulers that I didn't like for one reason or another. I bought one of these a while back and I really like it because: 1. it's thin so you can lay it down on paper, wood etc and place your marks very accurately; 2. It has a certain flexibility that allows it to follow a curved surface (e.g. a curved board); 3. It has both English and metric markings; 4. Millimeters are at the top of one side which I like about a lot of things because 162mm is easier to work with than say 6 7/16 inch) 5. Has a handy hanging hole at the end; 6. Markings are dark and easy to read; 7 It's cheap :-)

Pros
  • Black engraving with ultra fine graduations showing ruler divisions 0.5mm, 32, 8 and 16
Cons
  • Something else
