Lights Don't Last Long

We bought 8 of these balls (2 pack of 4). Most lasted less than a week. The ball itself is durabl, doesn't fall apart, and handles our smallish dog (25 lbs) chewing on them. The problem is that the lights give out. I use the ball daily for fetch. I usually throw the ball with one of those ChuckIt sticks. So I do throw it a decent distance. But I expect a light up dog ball to be able to take beating and keep on flashing. I'm not buying these again. They just don't last.
