I installed this on a vehicle that is used to tow a caravan. The reversing camera on a tractor license plate is ideal for attaching to a trailer. When set up correctly, it will display the hitch and you can hook up to your trailer like a pro. You no longer need a second person to guide you or get out of the car several times to check how you are approaching the hitch. I didn't have a second camera so I moved the camera from the tractor to another car parked in my garage to simulate a camera being on a towed trailer. The second photo above is from my car in the garage. Inside the car, lying on the dashboard, a very thick garage door was closed and about 35 feet away. Very good picture, albeit crooked due to improper installation. Mounted on the back of a towed trailer, you can see exactly what's behind the trailer. Switching from one camera to another is very simple (press the "-" switch on the back of the monitor). The magnetic suction cup mount is very convenient and makes it easy to remove the monitor from the monitor. To install. Connecting the camera is quite easy, but it depends a lot on your vehicle.
