Amazing set of ties comparable to what you might buy at Penney's, Sears, Kohls, or Macys. The colors are vibrant and construction solid. It's 100% silk where it matters so it still needs to be dry cleaned. Although, at this this price, I'll just purchase another set. The packaging is indeed strange but does not harm the ties if I'm careful with removing or cutting through the packing tape. If I want something fancier, I have to shell out twice the cost for a SINGLE tie that nobody else can tell that I splurged. I'll probably end up buying the entire collection of sets.
