Review on Hayabusa Ikusa Charged MMA Training Gloves by Logan Barela

These are well-padded gloves that wrap tight to your hand. I have used around 5 different 16oz gloves for bag exercises. These are on the high end of the ones I have tried.To get straight to the point, the reason why you would want to purchase these are for the tightness for which they wrap and stay on your hands and for the all-around padding. I have extra-large, skinny hands with long fingers. These are pretty tight on me. While I like the latter as they fit.well, like a glove, they may be a bit small for those with beefier hands. The next point for why these are better than other ones I have tried is the padding. Thick, nice padding all around -- from the knuckles, the palm, to the back of the hand -- it is everywhere. Punching 100 to 150 lb bags doesn't hurt at all because of all of the latter.That is about where the real 'positives' end.The material of the glove is PU leather.plastic.basically anything other than leather. That is to be expected I suppose however know this before buying. They are synthetic gloves.The only really bad thing is the smell. They have an extremely overpowering chemical/factory smell out of the box that I still haven't gotten out completely even after having aired out for 24 hours. Just a few sniffs is enough to give you a headache. Also, They will smell up a small area -- not just limited to if your nose is right on them.-----------------For the price, I feel they are high however the are better than any other glove I have tried where some of them were not too far off in price from these. The chemical smell is overpowering to the point of dizziness/a bit of nausea, and the material isn't leather, however these are one of the better gloves out there for the price.
