Good quality but may not be enough for larger tablets

The temples feature a Fire HD pad with a good compromise between stiffness and slack. The ball joint adjustment seems a little too small to hold a large tablet. A thumbscrew tightens the position by pressing the ball against the open collar. There's nothing particularly wrong with that, but rely on good finger strength to ensure the ball is fully tightened. Additionally, the thumbscrew wings are mounted very close to the adjustment barrel, allowing for some tight positioning with or without the use of a photographic quick-change base.
