I bought this to keep my 12 oz Topo Chico (glass) cool compared to a bulky well insulated lunch bag. All in all, if you're not planning on keeping an eye on your drink or hoping it stays nice and cold at dinner, then you should be fine. Pros: No manufacturer damage as stated in some reports. The bottle of Insul8 doesn't sweat either. It's also easy to clean. I also think it's good that the bottle doesn't slip forward when drinking, i.e. doesn't get in your mouth. A separate bottle opener is an advantage. Cons: It doesn't fit in a standard cup holder. It kept my drink "cold in the fridge" for about an hour (in the office, out of direct sunlight and fully covered). After about 2 hours the temperature was about 1 or 2 degrees below room temperature. I can still drink it, but that defeats the purpose of my drinking: saving money to drink later. Insulation in a bottle is effectively a thinner version of your standard foam kuzi. One note: if you plan to open the bottle while it's in Insul8, it will rise and squirt out (at least that's what happened with Topo Chicos).
