I installed them in the front door panels on a 2003 Dodge Stratus. They fit but were a bit tight around the edges. I used wire harnesses to connect them to the factory wiring harness so I didn't splice into the wires. I would say they are a huge improvement over my factory speakers. These are the only aftermarket speakers currently installed in the car and they definitely increase the clarity of the sound at higher volumes. It's not much when stereo is on, but the mids and highs are a lot clearer. I'm still taking them apart, but they seem to have a decent amount of bass. With a good EQ and a reasonable sound configuration and volume, I was able to make my mirror and bobble head wiggle and rattle. The subwoofer is not installed yet. All in all, these speakers are value for money for entry-level speakers who are tweaking and upgrading their factory system. I also highly recommend purchasing factory speaker wire harnesses for your vehicle! It makes things a lot more convenient.
