Aside from having to apply more than two coats to multiple parts, this paint was a good choice. I used whatever car degreaser I had on hand just to make sure they were clean. I then hit them with TSP because I wanted them to be very clean. I've done cabinets in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms and still have some left over for the inevitable touch ups. It is very thick but spreads easily. Very minimal drips or clumps. We really had to use these chip brushes on the center plates to get good grain coverage. This made it more labor intensive but gave it a more finished look so it was worth it. I would buy it again for some pieces of furniture I will refurbish in the future.
