Aside from having to apply more than two coats to multiple parts, this paint was a good choice. I used whatever car degreaser I had on hand just to make sure they were clean. I then hit them with TSP because I wanted them to be very clean. I've done cabinets in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms and still have some left over for the inevitable touch ups. The paint has the consistency of hand sanitizer, making it easy to apply. To clean up the brush strokes I used a small 1 1/2" acrylic brush. I know it sounds crazy but to be honest the consistency of the paint makes it apply quickly and smoothly. It takes 3x longer to prep than painting yourself with a small brush. Dries very quickly.
