Do not use on countertops.

So uncomfortable! After all the application work (nice texture and application) and perfect for my old formica countertops. Use TWO COATS of sealant recommended for water repellency and waterproofing. Water does stain temporarily, but coffee or absolutely EVERYTHING ELSE stains! JOB! What now. The seller emailed back to say there are no returns so that's about $70 plus time and effort and I'm stuck with painted surfaces getting stained. I hope this review prevents someone else from having the…

New cabinets for $120!

later WOW, WOW, WOW - I can't believe the results. We were doing a partial kitchen makeover and didn't have the budget to replace our white cabinets (which I HATE) so we bought Soft Gray and it's AMAZING! We have 59 cabinet doors and drawer fronts and we painted everything two coats and there's touch up paint left in the can and so on. NO sanding (my cabinets are laminated, that would be impossible), NO primer. Just roll with a small cloth roller. The BEST money I've ever spent! (If only my…

Fantastic color: Furniture color

I had closet-like shapes. Like the ones you see at school. It looked terrible. Followed the cleaning instructions. Then apply two coats. First I saw traces of rollers. But as the paint dried, the marks disappeared. Now the cabinets look great! A week later, I accidentally spilled coffee on a door. Washes off with no problem. I was selling a house and the kitchen looked like new cabinets. All viewers thought it was a professional job. I have a medium sized kitchen and bought 3 containers. It…

Worth the price for a specialty paint

Aside from having to apply more than two coats to multiple parts, this paint was a good choice. I used whatever car degreaser I had on hand just to make sure they were clean. I then hit them with TSP because I wanted them to be very clean. I've done cabinets in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms and still have some left over for the inevitable touch ups. It is very thick but spreads easily. Very minimal drips or clumps. We really had to use these chip brushes on the center plates to get good grain…

The color grows on me.

The paint has the consistency of hand sanitizer, making it easy to apply. To clean up the brush strokes I used a small 1 1/2" acrylic brush. I know it sounds crazy but to be honest the consistency of the paint makes it apply quickly and smoothly. It takes 3x longer to prep than painting yourself with a small brush. Dries very quickly. The second coat can be applied after about 1 1/2 hours. I suppose it depends on the temperature in your house. I've found it works best is to apply thinner coats…
