Review on 🚽 American Standard 047192-0020A Chrome Left Hand Plastic Trip Lever - 30 in x 6 in by Troy Houston

You must get this!

We have a White Cadet toilet, model #4112. This is the right product for this toilet! And at a great price. Just make sure you select *white* and that the model number is 047192-0200A. Note: Unfortunately, the photo still shows the outside of the toilet, not the handle and lever itself. The handle and lever are completely white in contrast to the original (where the lever is black). Another reviewer had problems with Bone, I think. What happened in this case I don't know, but white suits a white toilet! Just make sure you are looking at the correct product and selecting the correct color when ordering (model number will vary with different colors). Colours). You shouldn't have a problem picking the one that American Standard recommends (at least for white)! When in doubt just order from Revain as you can return it if it doesn't fit! But you can be sure that it will be! We ordered two, just installed one and it works like a charm! We also decided that we'd be a bit more careful when flushing and not hit the lever at the end. This will lead to the cracks that so many people get. Applying pressure closer to the pivot point should help. I also highly recommend ordering 2 at a time so you have a spare. I'm temporarily deducting a star as this appears to be the same plastic design as the original - something American Standard needs to change - maybe if they use thicker plastic, a slightly larger handle that wasn't hollow, or steel in an enamel- Outside use case, they wouldn't have that kind of problem! But then I'm not a toilet engineer and I don't play them on TV! Update: Note to those of you installing this. We're talking about a string of beads (a string of metal beads! :-)) connected to a float and attached to a lever in the toilet bowl. You want to make sure it snaps into place. You can use some force to do this (just hold it so it doesn't bend or break). On our first install we just pushed it in there thinking it was a long way off, didn't really apply any pressure - and as you might expect it came loose after a couple of washes! So snap in – done!
