When I received the coil I compared it to the coil on my 10" Ryobi drill and it was completely different. First, this spool had twice the amount of spring steel than the one I replaced, so I think the Uxcell 10" spring steel needle feed spool was probably rated for a larger drill, maybe a 20" drill. Also, the width of the steel was 1/8 inch wider than the steel on the ryobi reel. which forced me to forgo the rear washer when assembling the pen coil block. Then when I tried to put a new coil in the bobbin it didn't fit. So I had to cut the length of the coil in half, then heat one end and bend it to fit the body and onto the spindle shaft. I got it working, but it would be nice if Uxcell was a bit more descriptive with the pin feed spring steel dimensions. Also, it would be nice if Ryobi didn't stop manufacturing the drill press parts currently on the market.
