Defective, not working

Connected 4GB memory to my PS4 Slim and not working. PS4 does not recognize it as a USB mass storage device and does not recognize the external hard drive at all. The device is clearly defective and must be returned. EDITI sent the 1st hard drive as it was dead on arrival. You paid for the shipping label. Got my second and it works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase
