Review on Embroidery Starter Kit for 🌵 Kids: Handmade Needlepoint with Fun Cactus Design by Carol Miller

I really enjoyed making this print. It was easy and quick. Big fan of the end result. My only complaint is that the thread scissors were covered in grease. So aggressive that I soaked them in Dawn and even after that they were too slippery to hold (plus the oil got on the canvas and had to be spotted) and the tire broke IMMEDIATELY. I have other tires at home but not that small. I've attached it with strong tape (freshly made from wood glue and allowed to dry patiently) and used other thread scissors with no problems. To be honest, I'd ditch the scissors in favor of a better tire. Oh good. I was a little frustrated, my quick fix meant the hoop wasn't holding tension well and I ended up with a slightly frayed fabric. But the end product is something I'm happy with as a budding embroiderer.
