Review on πŸ›‘οΈ Protective Safety 1st Finger Pinch Guard: Secure Your Loved Ones from Accidental Finger Injuries by Brian Edwards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Has now lasted 3 months with one piece of pool noodle. Suitable for sliding showers.

Survived a 15 month old toddler and a 3 year old baby for about 3 months with a standard internal door, not much bullying/slamming in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the kid did it. A 6 inch piece of pool noodle replaced it and seems to work about the same for <1/6 the cost. Pool noodles don't have that high-quality, strong foam-like product, but a noodle forms a bunch (or several long) pieces that can be easily replaced when the foam starts to break. Poor quality foams like pool noodles won't work on an exterior or heavy interior door. UPDATE August 28, 2016: The pool noodle department didn't last as long as this product, but it did come close. I installed another part and am happier with it than with this product. UPDATE 7/28/2017: The pool noodle department has gone downhill, it's not always possible to find decent pool noodles. We bought a couple more of these to fit on the frames of sliding shower doors (doors are too thin they won't hold up) where there is virtually no stress on the inside corner "C". Middle section compression only. Works fine in this case. Upgrade to three stars.
