Reliable, excellent instructions, easy installation and wobble-free mount for medium to large and/or heavy TVs

I'm looking at the Sanus MLF13-B1 swiveling universal wall mount for a 37-80 inch screen. Instructions * Everything for mounting is included and well labeled for all sorts of different TV configurations * Heightfinder website for mounting height help is great (see first con!) * Well-made and solid construction * Supports 100lb 50-inch -Plasma TV without any tilt/wobble * Tilt, swivel and lever range for easy adjustment even after installation * Does not block rear ports and makes it easy to connect everything away from the wall after mounting * Cost compared to other mounts are quite high. amazing and affordable for a range on this mount * According to the instructions, everything is assembled / adjusted / set up in under 2 hours, with preliminary measurements and markings for drilling (for the layman) Cons: * There are at least two locations for Sanus mounts (Sanus Classic and Sanus ) and neither of them seem to reference the other's model ranges for the Heightfinder webpage tool or anything. A quick look doesn't even reveal links or links to another site without a detailed look at Sanus brands. They have different websites for different brands in their business and simply searching for models doesn't show all brands on their "main" website. This is a Sanus Classic model so you will need a fish finder. If you just do a google search you will see www.sanus.com not classic.sanus.com what you need for this mount! So don't get frustrated or angry if you can't find your mount on the altimeter, chances are you're on the wrong page. I'm not removing a star as it's an optional tool and most likely a mistake on my part, but. It was a little confusing and I worried that the $99 I paid was because I had received some kind of fake for a moment. Especially when you see the brackets cost over $400 on Sanus' main site * No printed schematic for the bracket, although it was mentioned in the instructions, but I think you can print it out on their site if you have it to need. I don't even consider it something important, but I think I should mention it for those who are installing the program for the first time. This would probably help with the initial setup of the drill site* You need to mark 6 different sets of measurements because people can't agree on how high the TV needs to be for a decent display? The initial measurements were more painful than the entire installation of this mount. , and probably took longer. However, this was due to the users and not due to any glitches on Sanus. Sanus has really made it extraordinarily easy to set and measure. They have a website where you choose the brand/model of the mount and provide the dimensions based on how high on the wall you want to place the TV. However, as my cons mentioned, make sure you hit the right spot for your model or you won't find it in the altimeter tools list. It took one person to measure, drill, install the bracket and bracket to the wall, and attach the brackets to the TV. It took two to lift the TV mount and align it with the bracket. This was mainly due to the size and weight of the TV combined with the height of the wall mount. We had a third random check to make it easier to line up rather than blindly catching the edge, although that wasn't really necessary. Once set up and secured, it was ridiculously easy to adjust and move around for better viewing. Corner. They even included the hex keys needed to loosen the bolts for adjustment. I also recommend getting the Precision Sensors Stud Finder Professional Deep Scanning LED Profinder 5000 if you don't have a good stud finder. This is an active spike finder that makes it incredibly easy to find the center of spikes for a solid grip. I bought it specifically for this project and will use it in the future.

Pros
  • Easily extends up to 14 inches and rotates 90ยบ to position the TV anywhere in the room.
Cons
  • A few small things
