Update: (doesn't) do its job well
I'm editing my review as this leg fell off on its own (while standing on a table) while I was in another room. together. Fragile and disappointing. This stand works exactly as advertised; Fully adjustable, works on lap, table, recline. The only downside is the right balance. The legs are made of plastic, which is much lighter than a metal pallet, so it is very heavy and often falls. Once you balance it, it does its job well.
