Mine covered the boat for 3 months when not used in summer. My boat was protected from bad weather, rain and sunshine with this tarpaulin. This is the thickest I've found so far. It's a bit worn, mostly faded, but has held up well in the scorching Virginia sun. Using bungee cords to tie it to the boot, a pair of grommets buckled under the intense pressure of the bungee. All in all a better tarp than any I have used over the years. Please remember these are plastic tarps and will wear down with heavy use and will eventually wear out. **** I've had this tarp for 6 months now and over the summer it covered my beautiful white ski boot. Unfortunately it has started to chip/chip into tiny dark brown pieces. I mean very small tiny flakes and very difficult to remove, especially on a white gelcoat. It's still holding up well in other ways, but it's peeling and fading. So I downgraded it from 5 to 4 stars.
