Helps remove dog hair. The suction power could be a little better for removing dog hair from car seats, but you'll end up getting it from car and car seat carpets. While regular vacuum cleaners will not let you get hair out of a car seat even with large car wash vacuum cleaners. The battery lasts a maximum of 20 minutes on average. I then have to run to my apartment and charge the battery for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Sometimes I took the vacuum cleaner to the car twice. But the suction power is really great for picking up dirt and small stones in the car. Sucks direct. Haven't tried anything in the apartment yet. No need for that as I also now have a handheld vacuum that converts to portable if needed. So use this handheld vacuum here only for the car. In general I give 4 stars. I recommend buying it, although the battery doesn't last long.
