I'm not sure why some reviewers got bad results with this DW alarm. In my pictures I took photos of the place where both are installed. Mind you, I live in a 5 acre, 175 year old horsehair house with plaster walls. And these things work just fine when the sensitivity is set right. See photos. The barn alarm is set to detect EVERYTHING that comes around the corner of the barn. (Yes, he catches flying birds). The signal MUST go through 4 WALLS OF HORSE HAIR, another house that's part of a garage that has nothing but rows of shelves made of fabric, wood and all things creative. SO MANY OBSTACLES! The alarm system did not disappoint us once! - House passage. Located at a 45* angle from the street. Northwest facing to avoid the sun. Install at the entrance. Install at a height of 4 feet. Sensitivity is reduced as it picks up flying leaves, birds and mouse farts. Dual alarm works fine. Indicators 1 and 2 are helping my old man because he is TONE DEAF! These 2 alarms work better than the one we have. there will be a lot of false signals at the entrance to the barn so the new one was fitted as is. Now we really know. I highly recommend this alarm clock. I have about the strictest set of requirements, and they just WORK!
