Review on Walker 16432 Direct Catalytic Converter by Chris Wilson

I had a bad muffler on my car but the muffler and converter were a piece of welding. I saw on the internet that some people just replaced the muffler and had trouble cutting and fitting the converter to the new muffler. Walker instructions call for replacing the muffler and converter when the original parts are welded together. So I bought this converter and a compatible Walker muffler. I asked my mechanic to fix the whole deal. As a bonus, the car runs smoother. I suspect that the old converter was a bit clogged. I had a random check engine light with an old converter but I haven't gotten it since this new converter and muffler was installed.
