This collar discolored our Yellow Lab's neck the first time he got wet. As long as it was dry it was fine. We walked about 15 minutes in very light rain and noticed the spot. We have never used it but it is needed for their service dog who is still in retraining. The surface of the collar seems to wear off when it gets wet. Very disappointing. The stainless steel and black anodized pen collars lasted much longer before breaking. I wonder if this is a fake Herm Springer? I do not recommend.
