Don't think you don't need piping and/or additional parts

Piping is expensive. Hours alone with a wrench in hard-to-reach places, endless frustration with hard-to-assemble parts, all with constantly wet hands and dirt piling up under kitchen sinks. Don't get me wrong, Waterdrop has come a long way to make installation easier, but I suspect most kitchens won't. The online videos are in no way representative of the actual installation experience given the cramped and crowded area under the sink. waste disposal - control; Dishwasher line and drain - check; refrigerator installation - check; Sink along the way - check. Presumably to keep costs down, Waterdrop offers multiple sizes of a single connector that needs to fit between the faucet hose and the shut-off valve. In my case it was too big to fit in place and wouldn't fit in my copper lines but I wasn't happy about adding 4 new adapters in line anyway as that means 4 more connections to leak could. Also note that the lead is made of thin plastic. This makes it easy to trim, but I would really prefer braided metal for durability. It would be very easy if something on the back of the sink cabinet caught it and made a big mess. I gave up after four hours of trying to install and will be going to the hardware store tomorrow morning to find alternative parts that I hope will work. I hope it will all be worth it considering the plumber will easily cost more than the $90 cost of this product.
