I just got back off a ten night 2000 mile trek. and all the bulbs worked as they they were supposed to. They certainly are not very bright though. It is a bit disappointing as I use led bulbs in my house in the 42-4300k range and they seem far brighter. There are probably in the 6200k range which is just too blue for general use. I get used to them after I've have been in the environment for a few minutes but if I want to read a book I have to turn on an incondescent reading lamp. They don't produce a lot of heat so light fixtures won't melt and they use about 10% the power as a standard 1156 bulb. LEDs have advanced quite a but in the last couple of years and are starting to get cheaper also buy apparently these have a ways to go to catch up with the advancements. Maybe the cool white color if available would be easier on the eyes. Even though my RV is small I can't afford to pay $15 per bulk to get a brighter bulb. I will be using these with little complaint until I find another reasonably priced bulb that delivers the amount of light I want. These are the best I've found that I can afford.
