Review on 📔 Stillman & Birn Alpha Series Wirebound Sketchbook: 9x12, 150 gsm, White Heavyweight Paper, Medium Grain Surface by Karla Richter

Stillman & Birn Alpha has become my favorite sketchbook. I mainly work with pen and watercolor. The paper is not as thick as what most would consider "watercolor paper" but the color will not bleed even with a significant amount of water. I was able to use both sides of the paper with no problems. Works great with fountain pens. I also like the folding/warping of used pages when using water. I have bought several Alpha sizes/styles but I think this is my favorite due to the hard cover and the fact that it can be flipped giving you a very comfortable surface to put anywhere. My only wish was that it had an elastic closure and that the size 7.5 x 7.5 fastens like this. But overall it's pretty much perfect.
