The cord seems decent, comparable to the Dritz rubber band that I buy for a lot of money. However, I received 100 feet of string in a plastic bag with no spool or anything to tie down the middle. Despite trying to gently tug on both ends to rewind (it was unusable as it arrived), it tangled HORRIBLE! I'm a knitter with my own scissors and winder; I know how to handle the fibers to be wound. It took me over an hour to make it usable. Are you saying they couldn't wrap the length around cardboard or an empty spool or even tie it around the middle to prevent that mess? Go to a yarn store and buy an unwound skein of yarn and you'll see it sell itself to prevent something like this from happening. Although the product is good and the price is tempting, I wouldn't buy here again if the packaging wasn't so different. Too disappointing.
