For the first time in years we have a turntable with speakers. Thank you that we have many, many records from the 50s, 60s, +70s. I bought it (Lauson with speakers) because I wanted to transfer music from our LP albums to CDs. I still don't know if I can pull off this feat as this process hasn't worked for me for three or four years. Using USB and computer is very difficult. BUT. For the first time in many years, I was able to hear the music my wife and I have come to love. The first LP I tried was with Johnny Mathis. I cried, remembering our lives. I'll keep my Lauson turntable and if the USB transfer still doesn't work I'll keep the records. I'm 82 and tired of ION and gadgets and tired of failure.
