This VFL is very bright. The user can connect it to a fiber optic and shine a red light onto the wall across from the room from the other end. It shoots red light straight through a broken fiber or microbend. It glows with white or clear plastic caps. If the user is trying to find a gap, a large damper can help reduce the intensity. It's significantly more powerful than most VFLs I've used. If it's on and connected to the network, you'll see the other end when you're nearby.
