Wanted some nice liquor spoons to complement the Mikasa cutlery. Couldn't find the same sample except from the more expensive Mikasa vendor and they are $50 for four balls. My stomach churned at the thought of paying that much for four stainless steel spoons (it took twelve - hooray!) so I went for them and was not disappointed. Very simple and clean design, very heavy weight, no flimsy embossed restaurant spoons that bend easily. Very light polished finish, very thick stainless steel. They don't have any stamped look on the front, back or edges. Spoon handles are thick and mostly oval, not curved at the back to provide rigidity like cheap spoons. You should really try to bend them. I did that and it wouldn't flex under reasonable pressure so I left it alone, unyielding. Very impressed and highly recommend. Look nice next to expensive cutlery. Have washed the dishes several times and it is just as beautiful as when bought. I've used one extensively (to get to the bottom of the peanut butter jar) and after washing it looks just as good as the others.
