I can't remember if I've ever changed this on my 155,000 mile Impala so figured it couldn't hurt. Well I broke one of the stupid plastic clips that hold this thing up and had to order it so it was a big pain. But now it's working and the gas isn't leaking all over the place for my pets and kids to have to lick, luckily because they've been acting weird for the past few days. I have no idea why I got this particular version or brand of this thing, probably because I read some of the reviews you are doing now and thought it was worth the risk.
