The filter was leaking at the seam! Poor quality control during production (made in China). This is not a repair that needs to be done twice. Now my car cannot be used until I change the fuel filter again. I will hire the best brand!

DO NOT buy this fuel filter unless you want a VERY expensive towing and repair bill. The weld on mine broke in just over a month resulting in a copious leak of fuel from the car, towing fee + garage bill to replace that junk with a new fuel filter >$200. Don't make my mistake and try to save a few bucks. buy a better fuel filter

I can't remember if I've ever changed this on my 155,000 mile Impala so figured it couldn't hurt. Well I broke one of the stupid plastic clips that hold this thing up and had to order it so it was a big pain. But now it's working and the gas isn't leaking all over the place for my pets and kids to have to lick, luckily because they've been acting weird for the past few days. Bought to replace an old and leaking filter on my mom's 2004 Chevy Impala. Works great, fits perfectly, no leaks, got a little more MPG out of the car already! And it saved me over $15-20 compared to buying "Premium" at auto dealerships. A word of wisdom for those not familiar with fuel lines; Make sure you have a fuel line with a rubber o-ring on the end.
