the material feels good in the hand. Clamping on both bars is better than my previous rig which only hooked on one bar. The clamp is a bit light but more than enough to hold the rig securely. My rig weighs 8-13 pounds depending on configuration. These aren't spiders. The position is where it is. I personally prefer a direct connection under the center of gravity.
